Michael
has been creating infotoons, diagrams, and his own brand of comics for
Kids Discover
magazine for over 13 years.
His humorous style of illustration can also be
found in more than 25 titles of children's activity books set forth
by the nice folks at Williamson
Publishing, and can be spotted in Family
Fun magazine as well.
In
addition to editorial art, Michael finds time to create pieces for a
wide variety of clientele such as the Chicago Symphony (Ravinia), Lands'
End, HGTV, Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey, Silver Burdett Ginn,
World Press Review, and amazon.com.

In
2004, Kline began work on WordPlay
Cafe, which represents his first foray as author/illustrator.
The book is set to be published in the Spring of 2005, and is a wild
ride for kids (and adults) into the fun and funnier aspects of wordplay.
It is available direct from Ideals Publications or can be found at amazon.com.
Whenever
a free moment presents itself, Michael sets out for the nearest library
or classroom, and can be found down on the carpet, drawing with kids
(of all ages) and encouraging them to follow their dreams.
